Safety and acceptable use
Clear scope, appropriate qualifications, private details, and an accessible way to report a problem.
Immediate danger
TASK is not an emergency response service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services and move to safety if you can. You can report a task or security problem through Help without accepting revised terms. TASK does not promise continuously staffed emergency monitoring.
Lawful and safe work
Do not request or offer illegal activity, violence, fraud, stolen goods, prohibited weapons or drug transactions, sexual services, trafficking, unauthorized access, harassment, or unlawful discrimination. Do not collect another person's private information or track a person without authority. Requests must also comply with the payment provider's restrictions. A vague request may need clarification or review before it can be offered.
Before work starts
Agree on the actual outcome, access, tools, vehicle, crew, stairs/heavy loads, material risks, duration, fixed price, and proof. Do not invent missing facts or attempt unsafe work because the task has been accepted. Verify required professional credentials for the job; a profile, willingness, or good review is not a permit. Confirm the complete team and payment readiness before starting.
Credentials and regulated tasks
Providers must hold required current credentials. TASK checks the specific eligibility stated and may pause publication or assignment for review. California household moves, interstate transport, construction/trades, health/therapy, legal services, childcare, and other regulated work have different requirements. The platform may have duties of its own. We do not guarantee every provider is licensed, insured, background-checked, or suitable for every request.
Protect private information
Keep exact addresses, access codes, phone numbers, sensitive documents, and payment details out of public summaries. Use task-linked clarification for relevant questions. Never provide a password, verification code, or full card number to someone claiming it is needed for a task. Open only expected links and use TASK's recorded agreement when reviewing changes. Preserve relevant evidence when reporting suspected fraud.
Completion evidence and reviews
Use the least sensitive evidence that demonstrates the agreed result. Do not require photos of faces, children, intimate spaces, confidential legal/health content, or unrelated possessions. Reports and honest reviews are welcome; threats, fabricated reviews, retaliation, and pressure to conceal a safety issue are not.
Reporting and account actions
Report the task, person, or incident through Help with relevant facts and evidence. We prioritize active safety and payment problems, restrict unsafe actions when appropriate, and provide a reason and appeal path when legally possible. A missed update is not automatically proof of a no-show. Task Marketplace LLC, 22072 Monico Dr, Moreno Valley, CA 92557. Help: support@task.com.ai. Privacy: privacy@task.com.ai.
